A throw lever is a small lever fitted to the zoom ring of a riflescope. It works like a handle, so you can change magnification quickly and with one hand – without hunting for the ring or leaving the sight picture.
When does it make a difference?
- When hunting – when game appears close and you need to drop magnification fast.
- With gloves – a smooth zoom ring can be hard to grip in the cold.
- When shooting at different distances – you find the right setting by feel.
How it mounts
The throw lever is placed around the zoom ring and tightened with a screw and nut. No modification to the scope is needed, and it can be removed at any time.

Throw levers must match the diameter of the zoom ring. We have ready-made models for:
